It's Video Thursday!!

I'm not naming any names, but someone has been giving me grief about not posting enough video. :) Well, it's not that I haven't been taking any video of the child, but he has now become mesmerized by the camera and looks at it instead of interacting with me in his usual playful, utterly cute way. Here is video from this morning that once again does not capture his typical morning goofy smiles and coos. SIGH. I'll get JK to be my video assistant for the next round and see if that helps.

Friday was absolutely gorgeous, so we took full advantage by packing a picnic and heading to the nearest park. We just loved introducing our January baby to Spring (as fleeting as it may be at this point!)

Emerson had an eventful day hanging out with Mimi, Aunt Jane & Cousin
Leah. He had a great time sleeping during lunch, touring, and
shopping...actually until the very moment this photo was taken when it
started sprinkling. Apparently, the child does not appreciate being
exposed to cold droplets. Duly noted.

Ummm...

Someone just slept NINE hours!! Poor little guy was SO fussy
yesterday after his shots so we all went to bed early. I think he was
just utterly exhausted and traumatized (wait, or was that me? No
matter...).

Family Meet-n-Greet

Goodness, it's been a busy week in the Keith household. FINALLY, here are some of our favorite pics from the Houston trip. It was so great to see everyone and officially introduce Emerson!! Thanks again! (Eventually I will learn how to post an album, but until then please excuse the formatting...)

Successful Trip!

I am happy to report we successfully navigated the crazy world of
newborn air travel. Emerson was just perfect on the plane and after
much strategizing, John and I were super efficient through security
with all of the baby gear. Yay!
