Texas Bound!!!
Pterodactyl alert
There is a pterodactyl in the Keith household. That's right, our son has started squaking like a prehistoric bird. The elusive pterodactyl has yet to be caught on film, but I will post as soon as I get it.

Good lima bean
Emerson wears a green swaddler each night to bed, so we always refer
to him as our little lima bean. Well, the lima bean slept 4 hours
tonight which made mommy very, very happy. Here he is after his 2am
feeding.

Great day in Nashvegas!
It finally warmed up today, so we took the stroller for its maiden
voyage around the neighborhood. Emerson napped the entire time, but I
am certain he loved the fresh air and sunshine!

Sweet boy
Although the pics I typically send out suggest otherwise (I just love
that buddha belly!!), we do actually clothe our child!

Dancin' in the mornin'
Emerson loves: 1) EATING 2) ceiling fans and 3) dancing in his crib in the mornings. Now that he smiles, playtime is that much cuter!
(note: clearly mommy needs to work on her videocam skills!!)
Emerson's Newborn Portraits
Blog Kick-Off! Woo Hooo!
Well, Emerson is almost 6 weeks old, so it's time to get busy with this little blog!! We are constantly taking pictures and video of our precious baby boy and this blog will be a way to bombard our family and friends in a more passive, polite way as opposed to constantly filling inboxes. After much, MUCH back and forth with John (which started while I was in labor with Emerson), we finally settled on The Keith Times-Picayune as the title of our blog. Why, you ask? I have no idea - we just thought it was funny and we were tired of talking about titles for our blog. FYI, in case you aren't aware (which we were not), the definition of a 'picayune':
1. A Spanish half real piece formerly current in the South (half dime)
2. Something trivial
Now, I just need to figure out how to post video and pics and we'll be on our way! Oh, and I need to learn to format. Jules, are you out there??!!
